Fear mongering (or scaremonger or scare tactics) is the use of fear to influence the opinions and actions of others towards some specific end. The feared object or subject is sometimes exaggerated, and the pattern of fear mongering is usually one of repetition, in order to continuously reinforce the intended effects of this tactic, sometimes in the form of a vicious circle. Youtube created by Doug Brinkman -
Rumors are nearly as old as human history, but with the rise of the Internet, they have become ubiquitous. In fact we are now awash in them. False rumors are especially troublesome; they impose real damage on individuals and institutions, and they often resist correction. They can threaten careers, policies, public officials, and sometimes even democracy itself.
Quoted by Cass R. Sunstein - known for his pro-actions in the Obama administration to divide, conquer in his attempt to put an end to the 9/11 truth movement using corporate media, infiltration and rumors.
We have to abandon the passive role we have accepted as mere consumers of media;
we must see ourselves in a new light - or rather, see ourselves once again in a Revolutionary light
- as citizen leaders with responsibilities to speak the truth. Naomi Wolf
We are just told what governments and corporations want us to hear, Your never going to get alternative views of current affairs and of history as long as the means of transmitting information is so corporately owned. Heather Mallick

False Flag Terrorism - Edmonton Questions 9/11 with Barrie Zwicker
"False flag terrorism" occurs when elements within a government stage a secret operation whereby government forces pretend to be a targeted enemy while attacking their own forces or people. The attack is then falsely blamed on the enemy in order to justify going to war against that enemy. Or as Wikipedia defines it: False flag operations are covert operations conducted by governments, corporations, or other organizations, which are designed to deceive the public in such a way that the operations appear as if they are being carried out by other entities. The name is derived from the military concept of flying false colors; that is, flying the flag of a country other than one's own. False flag operations are not limited to war and counter-insurgency operations, and have been used in peace-time; for example, during Italy's strategy of tension. The term comes from the old days of wooden ships, when one ship would hang the flag of its enemy before attacking another ship in its own navy. Because the enemy's flag was hung instead of the flag of the real country of the attacking ship, it was called a "false flag" attack.
"Edmonton Questions 9/11" Inspired by the 2007 3 day Vancouver 9/11 Truth Conference June 2007. Doug Brinkman, Emily Vokes, Friends and Supporters of 9/11 Truth Edmonton teamed up to produce 4 -1 day - film and speaking conferences at the Stanley Milner Library. Barrie Wallace Zwicker is a Canadian alternative media journalist, documentary producer, and political activist.
He is most famous for his documentary work, which has dealt primarily with 9/11 conspiracy theories In Canada, Zwicker has drawn comparisons to Michael Moore with respect to his viewpoints, and his approach to documentary making. He was the first from the mainstream press to go public with his opinion that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were an "inside job", when, on January 21, 2002. Wikipedia

Bring Omar Khadr Home & Close Guantanamo Bay - He's Canadian
Youtube Report - Edmonton January 7, 2012
Featured: Peggy Morton, University of Alberta Student Taraff Haymour and Alberta Leader of the NDP Opposition Brian Mason. Edmontonians braved the cold weather on the Alberta Legislature steps to once again remind the Government of Canada that bringing Omar Khadr from his Guantanamo Bay back to Canada has yet to be resolved.
Omar Ahmed Khadr (Arabic: عمر أحمد خضر; born September 19, 1986) is a Canadian child soldier and one of the juveniles held at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp. He was convicted of five charges under the United States Military Commissions Act of 2009 including murder in violation of the law of war and providing material support for terrorism, by a Guantanamo military commission tribunal, a venue reserved for non-American enemy combatants captured in the War on Terror. In October 2010 he pleaded guilty to the five charges against him as part of a plea agreement with military commission prosecutors. He was captured on July 27, 2002 by American forces at the age of 15 following a four-hour firefight in the village of Ayub Kheyl, Afghanistan. He has spent seven years in the Guantanamo Bay detention camp.[10] Khadr signed a pre-trial agreement, pleading guilty to the charges, and the details of the charges and accepting an 8 year sentence, not including time served, with the possibility of a transfer to Canada after at least one year to serve the remainder of the sentence there, based on a US/Canada agreement.

Why You Should Watch this Video
On Sunday December 11, 2011 The New York Times published an extensive article illustrating the role of livestream technologies in the Occupy Wall Street movement. The following day, seventeen mediamakers, including members of the Global Revolution livestream team were arrested. Since then, police have increasingly targeted members of independent media and citizens with cameras and media-making equipment, seemingly in order to quell future representations of police brutality and to suppress further momentum of the movement.
What does this all mean? One possible answer points to the power of citizen media asserted throughout the movement. Citizen-created media has been critical in sharing police brutality and the Occupy movement’s agenda with the public since its start on September 17, 2011. In fact, the mainstream media has progressively relied on videos and photographs produced by citizens and livestreamers at Occupy protests, illustrating its powerful role in agenda setting among the public.
The need for training videos that guide citizens to safely and effectively film at protests is greater than ever. Cameras are everywhere and understanding how to use equipment to collaboratively protect civil liberties and share a message is imperative. Challenges to human rights in Egypt, Syria and Occupy Movements around the world – for example – rely on that initiative. The question now becomes, what are the best tips and techniques we want to share and how do we draw on the attention and focus of audiences to relay that information. The video below is one powerful example. Watch it to understand the importance of civic media and to learn how to cooperate with other citizens seeking to protect our rights.
While watching, consider any missing tips and techniques and how the video works to keep your attention and join the discussion LINK.
